Runner is finished!!!

I have finished the runner that I have previously posted pictures of.  The final size is 13 inches by 60 inches.  It's been blocked and I'm pleased with it. The runner, along with the four red/white/blue doilies previously finished and posted are boxed and ready to be shipped tomorrow to their new home in Waynesville, NC.  Hope you enjoy them Linda!!!

Current runner

The current runner previously shared is coming along nicely.  I added one more row the length of the runner.  It now will be 5 blocks across, which will measure about 13 inches.  It currently is 48 inches long.  I'm adding blocks so that it will be 58-60 inches long when completed.   I have a total of 18 blocks needed to complete the project.

Back to a WIP from the basket

Well, with the last doily posting, I think I'm moving on from red-white-blue doilies.  Pulled the runner from the WIP basket and started working on it again.  I decided to block part of it this afternoon to get an idea of how the finished project would look.  It's going to be 10 1/2 inches wide.  Right now it's about 45 inches long, although I only blocked 25 inches or so of one end to see how it would look.  What do you think??  Haven't decided on the final length yet.

Another doily completed

This doily comes from a magazine called Sabrina Robotki, issue 02/2007.  I did change the final rounds from the original pattern.  (I seem to be doing a lot of that lately).  It measures 16 inches when made with #10 thread and a #8 hook.

Rosette Doily pattern

I was able to determine where the pattern for the previous doily posted came from.  It can be found in Magic Crochet issue 94, February 1995.  Have a great day!!

Patriotic Rosette Doily

This doily is called the Rosette Doily, but I've renamed it Patriotic Rosette Doily to go with the colors of red-white-blue.  It is made with #10 thread and a #8 hook.  It measures 14 inches across.  The pattern comes from either Decorative Crochet or Magic Crochet magazines.  I don't remember which one, but will try to look it up and add to this post.  Hope you enjoy the photos!
